JESUS G. "CHUY" MOYA

SAN ANGELO - Jesus G. "Chuy" Moya, 86, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, in a local hospital. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Jesus was born Aug. 6, 1921, in Saragosa, Mexico, to Julio and Pauline (Gutierrez) Moya. He married Ninfa Gonzales in 1942 and was married for 65 years prior to her death. Jesus was employed with Motl's Radiator Repair Shop for 25 years until their closing, later becoming self-employed, owning his own lawn service and San Angelo Flooring and Supplies. He enjoyed camping in the Cloudcroft, N.M., area. He was preceded in death by his wife; daughter Patsy; brother Pete Moya; and sisters Mary Cuellar and Connie Moya. He is survived by his son, Jerry Moya and wife Veronica of San Antonio; sister Lupe Gonzalez and husband Felix; brothers Noel G. Moya Sr. and wife Florinda, and Joe Moya and wife Christine, all of San Angelo; three grandchildren, Randall, Melissa and Russell; and eight great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all Chuy's customers and friends throughout the many years of his business. He was greatly loved and will be missed dearly.
