JILL APPLEMAN Obituary
33, of Canton, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Aultman Hospital. She was born in Canton on October 30, 1984; and was a 2003 graduate of Canton McKinley High School. Jill was a member of Westminster Community Church and formerly attended Stark County MRDD. She was an avid reader and had a deep belief in Christ. Her family was very important to her. She was an inspiration to her family and to everyone she met. Jill had a very encouraging attitude and an extremely positive outlook on life. She was a friend to all and will always be remembered as a loving and caring daughter, sister, aunt, niece and Godmother.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Grace Hynes and her paternal grandparents, Hilda and Lee Appleman.
She leaves her mother, Debra Appleman; her father, James Appleman; sister, Carly (Sam) Hart; brother, Mitchell (Carly) Appleman; nieces and nephews, Bo and Riede Black, Jack Hart, Calvin and Patricia Appleman; aunts, Jackie (Paul) Paumier, Linda (Jesse) Cross, Janet (Dan) Waller, Gail (John) Miller and Cathy (Jack) Halkides as well as many cousins, extended family members and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 12 p.m. at the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Please visit www.reedfuneralhome.com to send condolences.

Jill was in my first grade class at Lathrop Elementary. She had the most beautiful smile and personality. Such a little ray of sunshine to everyone she met! I have thought of her often over the years and especially remember the summer I was vacationing at Maumee Bay with my family and this tiny voice came along and said "I can't believe I am on vacation with my teacher"! It was fun spending time with her in such a lovely place. My condolences to all of her family. Be comforted with your precious memories of her beautiful life.

I'm sad to learn of Jill's passing. I will cherish memories of the times shared while providing nursing care for Jill.
