Jill Corinne Flynn

Jill Corinne Flynn (née Norton), 81, passed away peacefully in her home on June 8, 2024, in Phoenix, AZ surrounded by family and friends. Born on October 23, 1942 in Glenview, IL, Jill lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and deep familial ties.

Jill spent over two decades with American Express, where she was known for her dedication and warmth. Her commitment to service extended beyond her professional life into her personal passions. She was an active member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Phoenix, where she devoted countless hours to volunteering and community activities.

Her early education was completed at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Glenview and Mallinckrodt High School in Wilmette, IL, laying the foundation for a life of service and community involvement. Jill's hobbies included volunteering for her church, enjoying time in Tucson with her grandchildren, and participating in game days and Bunco with her cousins and girlfriends. She was also actively involved in the Boy and Girl Scouts, Pop Warner Football and Madison schools where she crafted costumes and uniforms for her children.

Jill's life was enriched by a large circle of friends and a loving family. She is survived by her sister, Nancy Norton; children, William Flynn, Kathleen Flynn Lewis (Tadd), and James Flynn (Laura); and grandchildren, Ashley Flynn, Jacob Wolfe, Maxine Wolfe, Sarah Flynn, Samuel Flynn, many nieces and nephews and over 200 cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Hazel Norton; brothers, Dennis and Stephen Norton; and her beloved husband, Jack Flynn.

A rosary with visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 18th from 5:00 to 7:00PM, and funeral services are set for Saturday, July 20th at 2:00PM. Both will be held at Most Holy Trinity Church, 8620 N 7th St, Phoenix, AZ 85020. Jill's life of love, service, and community will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
