With sadness we announce Jill's passing on Friday, July 2, 2021, in her 78th year. She will be lovingly remembered by her partner Danielle Lostracco. Cherished mother to Jean Hampson (Bob Highcock) and Frank (Melissa) Hampson. Special Grandma to Zachary, Alexandra, and Derek. Jill will be sadly missed by her siblings Heather (Lou) Valvasori, Gordon (Nancy) Hamilton and Bonnie Kinal as well as her many nieces and nephews. Her dog Deja will forever miss her belly rubs. Jill's memory will live on in the hearts of her family, Jean, and Frank's father Frank Hampson SR (Ruth), her many friends, and her colleagues within the District School Board of Niagara. Her family would like to extend a heartfelt 'Thank you' to the nurses and caregivers at the St.Catharines General Hospital, floor 3A, for their kindness and consideration. In keeping with Jill's wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME- 905-892-1699 where a private family interment will be held. Memorial donations to the Peninsula Field Naturalists Club, (mail cheques to P.O. Box 23031, Carlton RPO, St. Catharines, ON L2R 7P6) would be appreciated by her family.
