Services for Jill Ann Slater will be held privately at the convenience of her family.
Jill passed away at her residence Friday, August 7th. She was 65 years old.
Born in Watertown December 21, 1954, Jill was a daughter to Rodrick and Janet Collette. She was educated locally and graduated from Watertown High School.
Following her graduation Jill worked at several local businesses including Kinney Drugs, BoMax, Car Freshner, and Chesebrough-Pond’s.
She married Robert D. Slater on August 20, 1977 at Watertown’s First United Methodist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed crafting.
Surviving besides her husband of 42 years, Robert, is her daughter Stephanie Slater of North Carolina. She is also survived by a niece and several cousins.
Jill is predeceased by a sister, Terri Denning.

I will miss you Aunt Jill!! I loved our talks and all the Thanksgivings and Christmas Holidays at your house when I was a kid. You were one of the nicest people I’ve ever known and I’m glad you were always there for gram.
