Hello my friend. It’s been one year since you left us but It feels like it was yesterday. The grief is never ending and I miss you beyond measurement. It’s so cliche but there literally isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think of you or talk to you. Not one day. Love you to the moon and back my forever friend.

To say God has gained another Angel is an understatement. Hearing this tragic sad news was heartbreaking and broke my heart. More so it's broke Chases heart into pieces. He couldn't stop crying cause all's he wanted was his teacher to come back. I'm so thankful I got. To meet you at the meet and greet in August and see you at Back to school night. I enjoyed communicating back and forth with you everyday about Chase and how he was doing and behaving. I can't thank you enough for all you have taught him whether it be how to handle his anger, his not to disrespect his elders, and letting me know what a great day Chase had. He adores you and enjoyed being in your class as your student. He loved your sense of humor and how you. Would make him laugh. You were a wonderful teacher to him and I appreciate that more than you'll ever know. I'm so sorry God took you way before your time as my thoughts and prayers are with you and your beautiful family. Those sweet little boys of yours. I hope you're at peace, no more pain, no more suffering.. I know that your memory will live on throughout your boys and throughout the school. Especially with Chase, because he hasn't stopped talking about you. He's dedicated a page for you on his Instagram page. Thank you for all you have taught my son and all you have done for him. You will be missed by many. May God bless your family during this sad heartbreaking time and may he give them the strength to get by each day. And let them know that where ever they go, you are right there with them, by their side. Rest Easy Mrs. Ortiz. Xoxo
