Jim Cantu Obituary
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 27, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Ron Feather as celebrant. A rosary will be held 6:00p.m., the night before at Adams Funeral Home.
Jim was born October 16, 1925 in Falls County, Texas to Crespin and Ersilia (Willars) Cantu. He joined the United Stated Navy and served his country during World War II. Jim worked in the construction industry for several years. He was a long time member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marlin. Some of his hobbies included fishing and bingo. His family was his life and he will always be remembered and loved by all who knew him.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Isabel Dela Cruz Cantu and granddaughter, Monica Beltran Douglas.
Those left to cherish his memory are children, Minerva Cantu Rish and husband Ken, Jimmy Ray Cantu and wife Pat and Tony Cantu and wife Brenda; sister, Eva Alcaraz; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Arrangements under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Marlin, TX.

My deepest sympathy to the Cantu family. I wish I could have been there but I was in Colorado with my son and daughter-in-law at the time. Jimmy was the nicest and finest man ever. Always smiling and so kind. I will always remember him and Isabel. May they rest in peace. Gladys Reyes and fam
