Jimmie Honeycutt

Jimmie Lee Honeycutt Jr., 62, passed away on August 10, 2025. Born on January 14, 1963, in Kinston, North Carolina, Jimmie lived a life marked by deep love for his family and a generous spirit that touched all who knew him.

Jimmie was the beloved husband of Cynthia Honeycutt and the proud father of Jacob Honeycutt and Lucas Honeycutt. He welcomed Kaylie Honeycutt into the family as a daughter-in-law and found immense joy in being a grandfather to Londyn and Luca Honeycutt. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent watching them grow.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Snooks Honeycutt and Hannah Taylor; his parents, Jimmie L. Honeycutt Sr. and Ann Honeycutt; and his sister, Leigh Ann Honeycutt Smith.

Jimmie had a passion for life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed watching old Westerns, cheering on baseball games, admiring classic cars, and spending time thrifting-always on the lookout for hidden treasures. These hobbies brought him joy and reflected his appreciation for tradition, craftsmanship, and nostalgia.

Those who knew Jimmie remember him as a loving and generous person whose warmth left a lasting impression. His presence will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
