Jimmy Lee Biggs, Jr., 59 of Fort Smith passed away Dec 1, 2017 at his Fort Smith apartment. He was born Sep 22, 1958 in Muskogee OK.

As a 1976 Van Buren High School graduate, he began his career as a Butcher at Sherman's Grocery in Van Buren then later moved to Fort Smith working at the Butcher Block, Food for Less and Harps/Price Cutters. One of his favorite expressions when asked how he was would be "I'm Cadillac-ing" He was also known by many as the Fireworks Man operating tents many years on Hwy 271 South in Fort Smith.

He is survived by his parents, Jim & Mary Biggs of Van Buren; his daughters Brittany Biggs Wilson of Greenwood and Alyssa Biggs Burkert and her husband Blake of Fort Smith; his sister Sandi Herrmann and her husband Joe of Fort Smith; his brother Steve Biggs of Fort Smith. Jim, Mary and Steven,
My heart goes out to you in your time of loss. I have such very dear memories of Jimmy and our "days of youth", back in the 80's. He all ways had a smile on his face and he loved our band ! The last time I saw him was at one of the Blues fests, we reminisced and laughed at some funny recollections. Please know he will be remembered, fondly by his little brother's friend; with sincerest regards, Chris T Teter

I received word about Jimmy Lee yesterday and was so sorry to learn of the sad news. Prayers for the family. Some of my best memories about Jimmy are his infectious smile and how he loved to cut up and have a good time. I miss all of you Biggs's. --Love, Chuck

To the Family of Jimmy Lee Biggs.... all of you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.... I pray for your Peace, Comfort and Strength to get thru these days and know that God will provide that for you if you rely on Him. You all hold a very special place in my heart as I've known most of you from the time I was a teenager.... I didn't spend that much time around Jimmy since he was much older than I but I do remember he always had a smile on his face when I saw him....a very kind soul. I wish I could be there to give you each a hug.... I Love You more than any words of mine can express and Thank You to his wonderful loving parents (Jim & Mary) who were there for me and my family during our time of loss.... LOVE YOU!
