Jimmy Wendell CriderMr. Jimmy Wendell Crider, 71, of Old Fort, Tenn., was born on April 29, 1936, and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007.Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Mitchell and Minnie Crider; and his son-in-law, Allen Coffey. He was a loving husband and father and was the owner of Sunrise Grocery for many years.Survivors include his wife, Linda Sue Crider of the residence; daughters and son-in-law, Quantrell Coffey of Cisco and Trena and Danny Boling of Crandall; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Janae and Andrew Milen of Old Fort; seven grandchildren, Travis, Kyle and Kevin Coffey, all of Cisco; Katelynn Boling of Crandall; and Garret, Caden and Cambree Milen, all of Old Fort; great-grandson, Cole Coffey of Cisco; brother and sister-in-law, Julian and Jan Crider of Coos Bay, Ore.; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.Services are today at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. David Moore, the Rev. Edd Smith and the Rev. Roger Wagner officiating. Burial will be in the Sumach Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.Travis Coffey, Kyle Coffey, Kevin Coffey, Cole Coffey, Garret Milen, Andrew Milen, Clayton Moses and Randy Grant will serve as pallbearers.The family began receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday and will receive friends today until the funeral hour.Peeples Funeral Home of Chatsworth is in charge of arrangements.www.legacy.com
