Jimmy R Gual

Jim Gual was born to Marjorie Meggs Gual and Juarez Gual in Houston. He shortly moved to his beloved Oak Cliff and never ventured far away the rest of his life. He graduated from Adamson High School and later SMU. He enjoyed a long career in real estate development and later in life the automotive and truck aftermarket industry. His successful career resulted in many long term friendships that continued to the end. Jim was a member of Oak Cliff Country Club for over 50 years where he played golf and enjoyed many afternoons with his numerous friends and associates. He served in the US Air Force; Jim influenced many men in a positive way. He is survived by the love of his life, wife of 64 years, Dolores, son Jimmy C Gual and his wife Karen, two sisters, Marjorie Franklin and Judy Perrien. Grandchildren, Trisha Annis and family, Allison Smith and family, and Angie Henley and family, which includes six great grandchildren, that provided him with much joy. Jim also leaves extended family in East Texas and Mexico. Also, we cannot pass mentioning his little dog, Sam. Pallbearers for Jim will be Bobby Bracke, John Ford, Joe Hedge, Bert Lewis, Kyle Smith, and Owen Henley. Honorary Pallbearer, Homer Deford. Services at Laurel Land Funeral Home with Burial to follow.
