Jo Ann Harris Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 19, 2018.
JoAnn Harris left this world to be with her Lord and beloved husband, Pat on July 18, 2018.She was preceded in death by parents, Mae Durham and Glenn Hale and her grandson, Rocky Harris. JoAnn is survived by her 4 children: Monty Harris and Jean; Susan Hohnbaum & Dan; Glenn Harris & Mary; Larry Harris & Rose. JoAnn's life was about family, and especially her 13 grandchildren that she adored: Patrick Harris & Amanda, Shye Harris, Erin Harris, Mark Taylor & Lana, Amy Lagueax & Ben, Cody Burgin & Fayth, Brett Burgin & Meagan, Kyle Hohnbaum, Chad Harris & Tiffany, Haley Millis & Chad, Dustin Harris & Katie, Zac Harris, and Mason Harris. These grandchildren completed her world, or so "Nana" thought until they gave her 19 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her special nieces and nephews and an abundance of friends. She passed on to them all the importance of kindness, honesty, love of God, family and life. JoAnn's time was spent enjoying her family and writing. She journaled much of her life. At her 75th birthday, she released her book, A Cup of Jo to family and friends. JoAnn lived a full and rewarding life with no regrets and a heart full of love. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Sugar Land Methodist and the loving caregivers that supported her in her final days.
