Jo Ann Osborne, age 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 15th, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on June 20th, 1932 in Springfield, MO to Frank E. and Zela Brown Meyer. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 60 years of marriage, Billy Arlen Osborne and her son Bruce Aaron Osborne. "Nana," as she was called by her grandchildren, was an active member of Shepard King Lutheran Church, an avid bridge player, and loved visiting with her numerous friends and family. Jo Ann is survived by sons, Richard A. Osborne, Jon A. Osborne and wife, Donna Osborne, and Doug A. Osborne; grandchildren, JB Osborne and wife, Brandie Osborne, Cory Osborne and wife, Rita Osborne, Alyssa Voges and husband Matt Voges, Ryan Osborne, Kelsey Osborne, Hallie Osborne, and great-grandson, Nathan Lee Osborne; her twin brother, James Meyer and wife, Lorraine; sister, Dorothy Hatch and several nieces and nephew. A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. Porter Loring North Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests any contributions be made to the Robert E. Lee HS for the Bruce Osborne scholarship Fund (Attn: Danny Kloza). You are invited to sign the guestbook at www.porterloring.com

Doug,
I was so sorry to hear about Mother, she was always so nice to me when we use to hangout together during the week or on the weekends. I know it is a difficult time for you and the rest of your family, but rest assure she is in a much better place and is at peace. Our thought and prayers are with you and all your family during this stressful time. May God Bless you all.
