Nellie Mae Mumford

MUMFORD Nellie Mae Mumford- A native of Georgiana, AL passed to eternal life on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at a local hospital. She was a resident of Mobile, AL for a number of years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvine and Jamie (Mims) Milliner; and one son, Richard E. Martin. She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Arthur Martin Jr.; one brother, J.C. Milliner; a daughter, Sharon (Eddie) Johnson; grandchildren, Carlett Martin, Marie (Eugene) Hall, Edith (Thomas) Harris, Arthur (Nicole) Martin III; one devoted nephew, Garey (Rosemary) Ferguson; special friends, Dora Carlisle and Clara Overton, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Friday, May 14, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 15, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, 860 South Warren Street, Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in the Whispering Pines Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL.
