Joan F. Baker

Joan F. Baker, 72, of Bangor, PA, passed away Monday, May 21st, at Easton Hospital, Wilson Boro, PA. Born: April 11, 1940, in Northumberland, PA a daughter of the late Violet Gaugler and John Epler. Personal: She and her husband Rodney G. Baker, celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary last August. She was formerly employed as an x-ray technician at Pocono Orthopedics in East Stroudsburg, PA. Survivors: In addition to her husband, Rodney; Joan is survived by a sister, Dorothy Rice, of South Williamsport, PA; and two nephews Mark Rice of South Williamsport, PA and Todd Rice of San Diego, CA. Services: Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, May 25, 2012 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the James B. Gaffney Funeral Home, 314 S. First Street, Bangor, PA. Services and burial are private at the convenience of family.
