Joan H. Beall (Age 89)
On Tuesday, December 13, 2022, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Robert S. Beall, Jr.; mother of Robert S. (Ana Maria) Beall, III, Sharon A. (Robert C. Ziobro) Beall, Susan B. (Scott) Martin, Laura B. Reese, and Ginny A. Desautels; grandmother of Christopher M. Ziobro, Christopher B., Robert P., Mary V. Reese, and Ana Maria F. Beall; great-grandmother of Quinn and Logan. After graduating from Sacred Heart Academy High School and getting married in 1952 she worked for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and later the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). She left several years later to raise her five children. She was active in St. Camillus Church for 64 years with the Ladies Auxiliary, Teen Club, CYO, Parish Council and more. When her children were grown she return to the workforce with the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission working there until retirement. Following retirement she worked for St. Bernard's Rectory for many years. She was deeply devoted to her Catholic Faith, her family and friends. Relatives and friends may call at St. Camillus Church, 1600 St. Camillus Drive, Silver Spring, MD, Monday, December 19, 2022, from 3 to 6 p.m. where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the John S. Mulholland Family Foundation, Inc. who serve the hungry and poor of Washington, DC.

Ginny, Bob and Family,
Your Mom was a special person who always cared deeply for others. Though their friendship developed later in their lives, she and our Mom really enjoyed their time together. She truly lived her faith, and of that you can be very proud. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this sorrowful time.

I´ll never forget Mrs. Beall at the teen club dances and chaperoning our Ocean City trips. She always had kind words and a joyful heart. She sent cards for every occasion to my mother up to her hundredth birthday. May God bless her and hold her close.
