Sally Sanderson Obituary
Sally A. Sanderson, 81 passed away on Wednesday, January 6th at her home while under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson County.
A private viewing will be held at the convenience of the family. A spring burial in the North Watertown Cemetery at a date and time to be announced.
Sally was born in Watertown, NY the daughter to the late Arthur and Grace Lufftman Villeneuve. She attended school locally.
She enjoyed collecting elephants, listening to music, dancing, camping and being outside in her garden. Her biggest joy is the time that she spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her 3 sons, Robert (Marie Nimmo) Cummings, Sackets Harbor; Kevin (Tonya Howard) Sanderson, Dexter; Shawn (Brandy) Sanderson, Lafargeville; 3 daughters, Gloria (Mike) Simmons, Watertown; Kelly Sanderson, Colorado; Yvonne (Leon) Sanderson, Watertown; 2 stepsons, Robert (Terri) Sanderson, Arizona; Clay (Dee) Sanderson, Watertown; 30 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother Joe Villeneuve and 4 sisters, Dorothy Knowlton, Joan Morris, Beverly McCarger and Arlene Wilson.
Besides her parents Sally was predeceased by her 2 brothers, Donny and Ernie Villeneuve and her grandson, Joshua Cummings.

Nancy Lamphere we lived at 123 Stuart St. Our neighbors the Villeneuve family lived at 127 Stuart. Fond memories of all of the family..My condolences to all. I still live in Watertown and we winter in Bradenton Fla.
