Joan Bridge Obituary
Joan dedicated her career to helping others, working in home health care and as a housekeeper at Howard Johnson Hotel. Her compassionate nature extended beyond her professional life into her personal interests. She was an avid crafter, enjoyed coloring, and spent leisure time playing games on her laptop. Joan's love for her pets was immense, cherishing her cats Jackson, Opie, Garfield, and Baby Girl.
A devoted viewer of "Survivor" and "The Young and the Restless," Joan found relaxation and joy in her favorite shows. She graduated from Bradford Area High School, carrying with her the fond memories of her hometown throughout her life.
Joan is survived by her loving children, Ann, Nancy, Donna, Gordon, and Lisa; her cherished grandchildren, Tyler, Kelsey, Kendall, Alexis, Joshua, Hunter, and Haley; and her siblings, Bill and Mike, and sister, Midge. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Betty Frederick, her sister Betty, and brothers Eddie and Lee.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or a local animal shelter, honoring Joan's compassionate spirit and love for animals. Joan's warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
