Happy New Year Joan! You were the best friend a transplanted Yankee could have. I have truly been blessed to be in your presence for the past ten years. You not only took me into your heart but your family as well. Bob & Linda, Dean & Lisa thank you for sharing her with so many others. Please know that my thoughts & love is with you at this difficult time. At long last Joan & Cal are together again. 2013 will be a little less spectacular without Joan, I will miss you my friend.

May Joan's Family accept my sincerest wishes as we all were blessed to have Joan in our lives. In my opinion, God gave us all Joan to remind all of us what a friend is. May Joan live in all of us and may we all be better because of her. I know I am. God bless you Joan; I already miss you.

There is a familar buzz in heaven, as Joan makes sure that everyone knows everyone, and no one is left out. And what I would pay to see Joan's face when she was re-united with her husband Cal, the light of her life. May she bless heaven as she blessed all she touched here on earth.

Joan Calvert made everyone feel special and loved whether it was through a referral, a lunch meeting, a business event or a social gathering. She has been a mentor to me (and others as well) for the past few years and I look forward to sharing with others the love and care that she so willingly gave to us.

I'll always remember how kind Joan was to people she met, and she met plenty. Her work in the community was immense, her networking skills were unparalleled, and her energy was truly infectious. I always knew when Joan was in the room, because there was a special buzz around her. She will remain in my memory and that of so many others she touched. Joan was one of a kind, and I hope her family knows just how important she was to our city ... may she watch over us as the newest Guardian Angel in heaven.
