Salmon, LaVerne J. age 89, of Edina, died Jan. 12, 2006. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Salmon and sister, Sybil Heintzman. Survived by children, Robert M. of Modesto, CA, Stephen of Edina and Ann Nichols of Lake Tahoe, CA; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack Beaulieu of Hopkins, Bruce (Ann) Beaulieu of Duluth. Memorial service to be held at a later date. Native American Prayer I give you this one thought to keep - I am still with you - I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints in the snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awake in the morning's hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night.
