Happy Birthday Mom. I spent it at our favorite place thinking about you. Miss you so much everyday. All I want to do is call you!!!!! Now when I go to the beach I´ll know you are with mom mom and pop forever!!!! Love you bunches. Hugs and kisses!!!!

When I first met Joan , it was a Saturday at her home and she was on the floor working on a
Project for her classroom
. Those first few moments summed up who she was as a person . Dedicated to her students , willing to go the extra mile and young at heart . Every stranger was a friend to her , especially the four legged furry ones . She had a big heart and even bigger spunk ! My sympathies to my father in law , her children , grand children and great grandchildren. She will be watching over you all .. always - with love - Danielle Darwell

I am so sorry for your families loss! Joan sat behind my husband and me at church! Always so friendly, smiling and kind! Most of the time sharing a chuckle together! She will be missed!!

Among my happiest memories of Joan is how much she loved holidays. Celebrating half Christmas in June - brilliant! It´s just one small example of how she always made things special for the people she loved. We are so lucky that she came into my dad´s life and ours.

She was the love of my life. The most wonderful human being I have ever known. Kind and loving to everyone. She taught me so much in this life. She loved and took care of me so wonderfully. Her funny dances, songs and little ditties, love of animals, compassion for everyone and wicked humor made her so special. I will miss her for eternity.

I am so sorry to hear of Joan's passing. Working with her at BTES was such a pleassure. She was kind, funny and considerate. Sending prayers to her family. May she rest in peace.

What an amazing human you were Joan. You have impacted so many lives. You will forever be missed. Thank you for all you have taught me. Prayers for peace to your loved ones who meant the world to you.
