Passed away peacefully on the evening of Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the age of 75. Joan D. Marshall, President and co-founder of Colonial Flowers (Ottawa) and Marshall's Flowers for 30 years working alongside her husband and best friend George Marshall. Loving mother of Lynda (Barry Saunders), Brian (Holly) Bertrand and Gary (Susie) Bertrand. Proud grandmother of Calvin, Brandon, Austin, Andrea, Sophie, Krystal and April. Dear great-grandmother to Zachary, Logan and Zoe. Nana Joan will be lovingly remembered by Heather Marshall (late Michael Haines), Pam (Bill Kenny), Brian (Christine) Marshall and their children Jessica, Luke, Haley, Evan, Eric and Scott. Survived by her sisters Gloria Migneault, Carol Galea and Faith McStravick. A lifelong fan of her beloved Blue Jays. Friends may pay their respects to the family at The Whelan Funeral Home, 515 Cooper St. (between Bay and Lyon) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service in memory will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Tamworth, ON. Arrangements entrusted to The Whelan Funeral Home, tel. 613-233-1488.

I will always remember the moments growing up and later as adults, sharing moments with my family and you mom, celebrating life events at the Prescott, or waiting for your call whenever the Blue Jays or curling was on.
