I'll always remember Joan, her robe, cigarette & bag of chips!!! She shared many life lessons with us at our young age! I loved being her neighbor & hated when I had to move away. She was a spirited lady who will be missed!

Our lives were significantly better because of my beautiful Auntie Joan. I will miss her wicked sense of humor so much. She always made us laugh, even in the moments when we didn't feel like we could smile. I am grateful for the time we shared as adults, but also as children. There are so many memories that I will cherish and I was honored to be a part of her last days one earth. I know that she had a joyful reunion with all of our loved ones lost.
Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that is how I will remember you all. If you can only remember me with tears, then don't remember me at all.
