JoAnn~I know you are in heaven and Zoe has a special guardian angel now. You were one classy lady with a wickedly good sense of humor and hutzpa to spare! You will be missed dear old friend...Prayers to all your family. Hugs to Duane, Matt, and Teri and may it comfort them to know you were so well loved! The Peschkes

JoAnn was a special lady. You always knew where you stood with her because she would tell you like it is. I will never forgot the first day I met her in the Lufkin TRC office 13 years ago. I thought, two super strong personalities working together in a two person office, how long will this last? How wrong was I, she went in there and took on all of her responsibilites and some of the other persons's and did so for 12 years. Her demeanor demanded attention which she usually got no matter where she was. On several occasions over the years, if she felt the need to address the manager of a restaurant, due to poor service for instance, she did so without hesitation. She kept them on their toes. If you needed a friend, she would discuss with you your options and try to help you figure out a way to solve them. She did this many times over the years hoping to fix whatever was broken or just tweek it enough for you to see the error of your ways and try a different approach. You could go to her in confidence and she truly was trustworthy. JoAnn really loved to help people, not just the disabled, but everyone that she knew needed that extra help. She went above and beyond that extra mile, she cared. She will be missed by all of those lives she has touched over the years. And, I know that our Lord Jesus Christ has many lives that she will be touching from her crochet to her listening and guidance approach to the angels in heaven. Thank you JoAnn for all the love you have given of yourself over the years.

Duane, Matt, and family,
Words can't express how much JoAnn meant to us. She was a very special person. We could go weeks and not talk to each other and pick up right where we left off. We are here for you in the days ahead. Love and prayers, Gary and Sherry
