My deepest sympathy in your loss of JoAnna. She has always been a great inspiration through her cookbooks and her most recent book, "When Life Hands You Lemons...". I just purchased the book a couple weeks ago and how happy I am that I did. I was diagnosed with breast cancer not long after JoAnna was. We talked briefly about that at a Women's Lifestyle Fair in Davenport. She will be missed on earth, but will live on in God's kingdom...Peace

I met JoAnna in a biology class at Scott Comm. College. We were both working mothers going back to school. She encouraged me to get my four year degree through WIU Board of Governor's program. It made such a difference in where I am now. We never know how we touch someone's life...I do now, thank you JoAnna!

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
