Joanna Ross

ROSS, Joanna Rebecca Joanna Rebecca (Matthews) Ross of Highland Village, TX lost her battle with Alzheimer's and Multiple Sclerosis at age 70 on January 19th, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents: Craig and Rebecca Matthews. She is survived by the love of her life: John Ross; her children: Lisa Smith and husband Brandon, Gretchen Ross, Cara Ross, Erin Chambers and husband Wade, Hunter Ross; grandchildren: Stratton and Skylar Smith, Peyton Leverette, Kaidyn and Cannon Chambers, Tanner and Preston Ross; brother: Craig Matthews married to Sharlot; and former spouse: Bob Haydon. Joanna graduated from Texas Woman's University in 1975 and worked as RN at Dallas Rehabilitation Institute, American Airlines, Delta and the City of Denton. She will be lovingly remembered for her dazzling smile, down-to-earth nature, fabulous style, sharp wit, creative spirit and unconditional love. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 30, 2015 beginning a 1:00 pm in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm following the visitation.
