Memories of JC( nickname stuck x 55 years)start on our first day at McGill in BN Public Health program, September, 1968. We shared visits with both our families over the years and added our own memorable trips with Rita: Stowe,Vt., the Eastern Townships and especially her first camping adventure to Nova Scotia & PEI. Of course there was also the Montreal nightlife...I shall miss her amazing voice in her church choir
( the Lord´s Prayer) and in Stowe, those `ice cream castles in the air´.
She shall forever hold a precious place in my heart. RIP my dear pal

The list of memories span fifty years. Some that come to mind are: Nana Mouskouri concert with Joanne, her Mother, and Nadine; Memphis, Graceland, duck-boat Mississippi River trip and the Peabody ducks with Joann, Nadine, Tricia and Susan; Bala cottage weekend with Joanne, Nadine, Susan, Eileen and Tricia; numerous dinners, some including a selection of Joanne´s ballads; and a special selection of ballads designed to calm a colicky baby. The celestial choir will be more melodic with the addition of Joanne´s voice.
Rest in peace, Joanne.
