Through the mercy of God may she rest in peace.
I loved your movies, Joanne. Vertigo has been an absolute favorite since I was 9. I hated to hear of your passing, but I hope to see you on the other side.

Joanne was an accidental friend and I am so glad. We met at St. Catherine of Siena in Kennesaw, Ga. When we found out shortly later that she didn't have a car, we started giving her rides to and from her apartment. Soon she and I developed a friendship. An unlikely pair we were. About the only things we had in common were height and religion. Beyond that, we are radically different in our political views. But she taught me that she put friends before politics. I think I am a better person because of our friendship. I will never forget her. She made a big impact on my life. I miss her already.

Joanne was a dear friend and she will be missed. We will always remember our days of "dogging" it together and all the fun we had.
Our deepest sympathy to the family.

Joanne became a good friend when we moved to Georgia, and I'll miss the great conversations we had. What a loss to her family, the parish and to all her friends. We'll keep the happy memories closest.
