JANESVILLE--- Joanne M. Presti, age 73, of Janesville, died on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at home. She was born in Janesville on July 13, 1937, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Liptow) Wiskie. She married Daniel Edmunds with whom she had 4 children, and later married Sam C. Presti in Janesville on Aug. 23, 1986. He preceded her in death on April 29, 2001. Joanne was a member of Midwest Christian Center, where she served as community cook for years. She enjoyed cooking, puzzles, reading, crosswords, and hosted a Christmas Tea party every year in her home. She is survived by her 4 children: Daniel (Catheraine) Edmunds of Beloit, Julianne Young of Evansville, Amy (Rick) Hoag of Big Bend and Susan Hillison of Janesville; 2 step children, Joseph and Sharon; 9 grandchildren: Lindsay Young, Ryan Wiskie, Aaron Wiskie, Raquel Indgjer, Kevin Wiskie, Madalyn Indgjer, Kimberly Young, Adam Edmunds and Noah Edmunds; 5 great grandchildren: Hunter, Preston, Landon, Dylan, and Jordan; 7 sisters: Pat (Wayne) Marko of Janesville, Bonnie Rindfleisch of Applegate, CA, Peggy Rogers and Carol (Robert) Schwengels both of Janesville, Theresa Robinson of New Glarus, Mary Jo (Bill) Hirst of Janesville, and Janice (Curtis) Fry of Beloit; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 3 brothers: David, Bill and Richard Wiskie; and 1 sister, Linda Kirschner. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, at MIDWEST CHRISTIAN CENTER with Pastor Theron Benedict officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME. Lasting Memorials may be made to Midwest Christian Church.
