Joanne (Bellan) Wilson

Milford – Mrs. Joanne (Bellan) Wilson, of Milford, died Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was 66. Joanne was born in Waltham on February 10, 1953, a daughter of the late John and Theresa (Rehill) Bellan, and had lived in Waltham before moving to Milford in 1992. She worked for years as a certified nursing assistant at Whitcomb House in Milford. On July 5, 1969 she married Waltham native Steven J. Wilson and the couple celebrated fifty years of marriage earlier this month. Joanne loved life's simple joys, especially time spent with her twelve grandchildren, a game of cards and bingo with friends. In addition to her husband, Steve, she leaves her children, Steven J. Wilson, Jr. (Gloryann) of Whitinsville, Rocky Wilson (Gorette) of Milford, Linda M. Camilli (Leo) of Mendon, Fred Wilson (Wendy) of Pelham, New Hampshire and Michael S. Wilson (Julie) of North Attleboro; her grandchildren, Scott, Jayden, Lexi, Sofia, Isabella and Liliana Wilson, Brianna and Leo Camilli, Jr., Lucas, Payton, A.J. and Andrew Wilson; her brothers and sisters, Michael Bellan of Milford, Christine Provencher of Waltham, Donald Bellan of Jamaica Plain, Wayne Bellan of Hollis, New Hampshire, Deborah Sama of Waltham and Rocksine Gorman of West Boylston and several nieces, nephews and their families. Joanne was also the step-daughter of the late Martha (Knowles) Bellan and a sister of the late Judith Gustafson, John and David Bellan. Family and friends will honor and remember Joanne's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Wednesday, July 24th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again on Thursday morning when her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
