Grace R. Ruys

RUYS, GRACE R. Grace Ruys, of Kimberly, age 76 years, died Monday, December 25, 2006 at St. Paul Home. She was born February 8, 1930 in Green Bay, the daughter of the late George and Cecilia Brochtrop Bruecker. Grace married Nicholas Ruys on September 18, 1952 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Kaukauna. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish in Kimberly and active with the mission ladies of Holy Spirit. She is survived by her loving husband, Nick Ruys; seven children: Stephen Karen Ruys, Lynn David Ebben, Randy Karen Ruys, Robyn Steve Noel, Dan Terri Ruys, Neal LuAnn Ruys and Matt Gina Ruys; twenty grandchildren: Nick Ruys and Jackie Elliott North; Matt, Brad and Danielle Ebben; Ben Katie Ruys, Luke Amanda Ruys and Kari Eric Rasmussen; Amanda, Jenna and Terra Noel; Travis, Josh and Jennifer Ruys; Jake and Leanna Ruys; Kristin, Erin, Mitch and Katie Ruys; brothers: Gerald Bernice Bruecker and Roger Arlene Bruecker; sister: Georgianna 'Babe' Bill McGinnis. Grace is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The funeral liturgy for Grace will be held at 4:30 pm on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH, 600 E. Kimberly Ave. with Fr. Bob Vandenberg officiating. Inurnment will take place at Holy Name Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30 pm until the time of mass.
