Jody Cockerham Obituary
Jody, known to his loved ones as Jody, was a kind-hearted individual who enjoyed fishing, working with wood, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He especially cherished the moments he spent with his daughters, Destiny Moore, Ayrianna Cockerham, and Lillian Cockerham.
Jody will be deeply missed by his parents, Stanley and Connie Cockerham, his daughters, Destiny Moore and husband Brandon, Ayrianna Cockerham, and Lillian Cockerham, as well as his sister, Melissa Underwood, and her husband, Ricky. He also leaves behind his nephew, Bryce Cockerham, his niece, Brelee Underwood, and his great nephew, Zayne, and great niece, Paisley. Additionally, he is survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Jody was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Donald Mitchell and Doris & Dean Quillen, as well as his paternal grandparents, Jake and Nona Cockerham.
Jody attended Medora High School, where he acquired a strong educational foundation that would serve him well throughout his life.
A Celebration of Life service for Jody will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends to come together in remembrance of his beautiful life.
May Jody Andrew Cockerham rest in eternal peace, and may his memory forever be a blessing to those who knew and loved him.

Jody and I dated back in 2015 for 4 years one of the memories I will never forget is he always had that smile on his face and loved his girls deeply. One day me him and his girls went fishing and he was bound and determined to catch the biggest one in that pond well he hooked it brought it to the bank and snapped the line. Boy he was so sad but it sure indeed had to of been the biggest fish in that pond. I will never forget you and always will love you Jody Till we meet again!!

Jody was one of my first boyfriends. I have so many good memories of running around Medora with him and our friends. I'm so sad to hear this. My condolences to the family.

Sending love to all. I am praying for healing and love to cover the whole family. I first met Jody, Jason Hignite, Tomi Hignite, Blue, Jerry, and Amy Grubbs at the good ole Eagles in Bedford. I went with my Dad, whom was a member and had to sign the books on a regular basis. It was a family establishment due to selling food and being a club. So, it was the best to go and sing some karaoke and then just be little runabouts I´m so thankful I got to meet the whole family. I have many fond memories. I´m still friends with all parties involved. Jody will be missed.
