John Little Obituary
HARLINGEN, TX.-John Little, 80, entered eternal rest on Monday, March 2, 2009 at Valley Baptist Medical Center. A native of Minnesota, John was born on October 6, 1928 to Frank and Violet Cole Little.
As a young man, he served the U.S. Army from 1946-1948. John was an avid outdoorsman who loved playing golf. He was a member of the Harlingen Elks Lodge #1889. John was a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Vicky Little.
John is survived by his nine children: Steve (Wendy) Little, Lon (Lynn) Little, Becky (Paul) Hinz, Gayle (Pat) Franzene, Craig (Jaqui) Little, Pam (Gary) Postel, Brian (Barb) Little, Holly Little (Pfeifle), Clayton (Susan) Little, 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by brother: Joe Conway, sisters: Joan Chatham and Mary Miller.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Church of Christ located at 801 East Harrison Avenue in Harlingen, Texas with Reverend Jacob Vincent officiating.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home located at 1002 E. Harrison, Harlingen, TX 956-364-2444.
