I remember Joe's quick smile, his hugs, his love for his family, his faithfulness to the Lord, etc. I thought of him frequently, even though I didn't get to see him much in the past few years. May God bless his family with His love and mercy during these days of sadness and loss. Joe, you will be truly missed. I thank you for the time that I was honored to have known you, the guidance, the wisdom, and the knowledge you shared with me. I thank you for showing me how to be a better man, father, and husband. I am selfish and wish we could have you on this earth longer to share this life with, but I know you stayed on earth long enough to help us be better people. Your work on earth is done and you have gone home to be with our lord to prepare for our time to spend in heaven with you and the lord. You are more special than many will ever know or understand, but I live with that special niece that you found a spot for in your heart. I know how much you meant to Pam, Oledia, Kim, & Lynn and our families. Our world is a sadder place today for our loss of you, but a better place because of what you showed and shared with us. They do not make men like you know more. You served our country and our lord. You showed us what a man, husband, father, and grandfather should be. Hopefully those you touched can share all that you did to make our time on earth a better place until we come to spend our life with you. I love you and thank you.

October 25, 2012

Oleda and Family, our many thoughts and prayers are with you at this most sad time. But we also rejoice with you that Joe is now with the Lord and no longer in pain. Our Blessed Hope is not too far away when you will be reunited with your soul mate, never to be apart again. May God comfort you as only He can and may your many wonderful memories of your life together bring a smile to your face. Treasure those memories and write them upon your heart to read when those days of loss attempt to steal your joy. Joe was a very sweet, kind and humble servant of God. In loving memory, Jane and David Fulmer (Cantonment,FL)
