Stacey our thoughts and prayers are with you and family. I´ve had the privilege of knowing Joe my entire life and can´t recall one time seeing him upset or angry. Joe´s demeanor never changed from the genuine caring loving person that he was. I was also fortunate to be named after his brother Richard after his passing. Each time we visited First Baptist after moving from Lyman, Joe was always there with a warm smile and loving greeting. Joe was the real deal, a devoted father and grandfather. I remember him with fondness and happiness at family reunions and other family gatherings. He will truly be missed. May God´s loving arms and grace give you and family support in the coming days and weeks.

Heart felt sympathy to Joe's family. He was my first cousin on my Daddy's side. My Dad and Joe's Dad were brothers. Sadden to see that Joe was the last of Uncle Jack and Aunt Eva's children. God bless you all in your hour of grief.

Thinking of you Stacey and family. I consider it a blessing to have known Joe for all my life. Not only was he a kind and humble person, but he was an encourager who I will always remember as a true friend.
