He is survived by his wife, Sandy Salter, daughter, Sheree Trott (Joey), son, Heath Salter (Shelley), sister, Debbie Jones, brothers, Earl Salter, Ray Salter, Jerry Salter and two grandchildren, Casey and Bishop.
The family will receive friends from 6 PM until 8 PM on Friday, June 15, 2012 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 11 AM at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel.
