Joe Seaton, Galena, MO, son of Bruce and Dorthy (Moore) Seaton, was born on December 15, 1959, in Springfield, MO, and departed this life on February 18, 2023, at the age of 63.


Joe was a lifelong resident of the area who worked at Tyson Industries, was a dishwasher, was a former cast member at the Shepherd of the Hills play, Branson, MO and attended the Cape Fair Christian Church, Cape Fair, MO.


Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Dorthy Seaton; sister, Lorraine Teal; brother, Paul Seaton and honorary brother, Scooter.


Survivors include: three brothers, Kenneth Lingle and his wife, Perrylean of Cassville, MO, Steven Seaton and his wife, Beni of Hurley, MO and Mark Seaton and his wife, Alice of Highlandville, MO; two sisters, Ruth Thomas and her husband, Dale of Reeds Spring, MO and Martha Wynn and her husband, Darren of Palmer, TX and a host of other relatives and friends.


Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2023 in Cape Fair Christian Church, Cape Fair, MO with Phil McKinley officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.


Memorial contributions may be made to the Cape Fair Christian Church building fund.
