Joe Viveiros Obituary
Joe Viveiros, 66, of North Haven, loving husband of Cisaltina (Pacheco) Viveiros, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Yale New Haven Hospital.
Joe was born in Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal, November 17, 1951, a son of the late Herminio Viveiros and Edwarda (Penacho) Viveiros. Joe was self-employed and was a parishioner of St. Therese Church in North Haven.
In addition to his wife Cisaltina, he is survived by his two sons Manny Viveiros and his girlfriend Stephanie Bickford and Mark Viveiros and his wife Danielle all of North Haven; his 5 cherished grandchildren; several sisters-in-law; nieces; and nephews. He was predeceased by 3 brothers Horacio, Luis and Herminio.
His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., Sunday, March 4, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 5, from The Wallingford Funeral Home at 9 a.m., when the funeral cortege will proceed to Most Holy Trinity Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery in North Haven.

I said it when he passed and I still feel the same today - Joe was one of the nicest gentle gentleman that I have had the honor of knowing. This world, regardless of of how bad we may think it is, its a much better place because of Joe. Be at peace my friend, and if you happen to see Lydia where you are please say hello to her for me

Words can not describe how Maria and I feel about the passing of senhor Jose. We are so very sorry. I just found out about this so very sad news and it really has effected us. We truly were not expecting it.
Joe was probably the kindest, nicest and most peaceful man we had the honor of knowing. He, his beloved wife, and his children were so great to me when I too lost Lydia to cancer a little over 3 years ago. Joe and Lydia are now together with Jesus watching over all of us. Our most sincere condolences to Mrs. Viveiros, Many, Mark and Danielle, as well as the entire family. Be at peace my friend. This world is a better place because of your presence here, your kindness, and the lives you have touched, including ours.
