Joey Anthony Carroll, of Perkinston, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on May 21, 1964, to Joseph "Jesse" and Henrietta Carroll.
Joey was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Carroll, and his beloved, Pam. He is survived by his devoted mother, Henrietta Carroll; his loving partner, Alena Hulova; his sister, Rhonda Cochran; his brother, Randall Carroll (Shannon); and his daughters, Brandi O’Connell (Chad) and Jessica Jackson (Houston). He also leaves behind his cherished nieces, Reachel, Tyler, Emily, Katie, and Sophie; his nephews, Colton, Braden, and Quinn; five grandchildren, Christian, Cearria, Cameron, Keegan, and Trinity; and two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Roman.
A proud Army veteran, Joey served his country with honor and dedication. He will be remembered as a giver with an enormous heart, selfless, loyal, and always ready to help others. Joey loved deeply and brought joy to all who knew him. He found happiness in the simple pleasures of life: watching a good movie, playing a video game, shooting a game of pool, and laughing over family moments, though he was never one to share the last slice of peanut butter pie.
Joey was truly one of a kind. His generous spirit, sense of humor, and unwavering love will be forever missed by all who were blessed to know him.
A Memorial Service will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Porter Avenue in Ocean Springs on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 5:00 pm. Friends may visit from 4:00 pm until service time.
