I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am that your mom is gone. She was always so kind to me, making me feel like I was a valued member of the community, even when I had just moved to E. Fairfield. She explained some of the quirkier community members to me so I wouldn't take their behaviors so personally. I loved how she and your father always had penny candy for the kids. I'm glad my children got to experience having a store like that in town, they loved going down there. And for me, too, the store was a welcoming community meeting place that added so much to our quality of life. Your whole family seemed to work there on and off, and I'm glad I got to meet all of you. You were lucky to have her and she was really lucky to have all of you. My sincere condolences.

In my mind I will always remember, when I was a child, my many visits to the store where I was always treated like one of Jo's own children and where Lyn always snuck me a piece of cheddar cheese. A part of our community, a part of our lives. She will be missed.

WE are so sorry to read about Jos death, weaways enjoyed visting with Lynn and Jo at camp when ever they could make it. she was a wonderful lady, we will miss her at camp. our prayer go out to Lynn and family.

She was a great person and will be missed by many. Just remember the good times we had with her. My prayer are with all the family.
