John Adriani

John was a special human being.... I know that he will be sorely missed in the community..... We lived two houses away from him in Laplata..... We thought of him often after we moved away.... Prayers are on the way John....

We got to know Johnny when he built his home next to ours in La Plata, MD on Fair Fountain Farm in 1989, and it didn't take long for us to realize that we had a really good guy moving in next door to us. Johnny was a great neighbor, a proud American, stood for what was right, and chastised things that were wrong (as we all should). He really loved his family, and spoke of you often during our occasional backyard conversations held from our tractor seats while taking a break from mowing grass to chat for a few minutes. He was always supportive of our neighborly accumulative effort of maintaining our private farm road, and my wife and I always enjoyed talking with him when we would bump into each other at the mailbox, or while driving along the farm road. We will miss you Johnny. God speed, and Rest in Peace ~ Glenn & Chrissy Strachan.

We loved to hear Uncle Johnny tell stories of his life. He made us laugh and proud to be called his nephews and niece. We love him and will miss him. Until we meet again ~ Tim, Jenny, Philip, Danny and Matthew

I have fond memories of you, Uncle Johnny! You were always the sweetest, and I could always count on your "I remember when you were tthhiiiissss big" :) I only wish I'd gotten to know you better. An inspiration and an Adriani legend! We'll miss you!

A character to say the least, the word “unique” can only hope to scratch the surface when describing my uncle. He is and always will be my uncle and a great one at that. He may have passed but he will live in my memories the rest of my life, bringing many smiles, a few cringes and total respect for the things he did and the manner in which he did them. I am extremely fortunate to have had him in my life; I too will miss him dearly while I think of him often.

Uncle Johnny, you will be missed by so many people. Even with our fair share of disagreements on life, you were a strong, loving and independent person. No one could believe that a 95 year old was still driving around and taking care of himself. That was just who you were, it was in your nature. Your strength was so contagious. We are so happy that you were a part of our family. We love you and will miss you a lot.
