JOHN AMMELL Obituary
Lifelong Pittsburgh area resident passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017, following a long illness. He was 82. Son of the late Kathleen (Cummins) and Stephen Kerekes. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary "Dolly" (Welsh) Ammell, and sister Joan Eckert. He is also survived by his loving children, Kate (Edward) Trudo, Sean and Michael Ammell and Margaret (Edward) Silverman; his grandchildren, David and Megan (Russell) Trudo; his nieces and nephews, Judy (Geno) Como, Robert (Leslie) Sunseri, David (Cindy) Sunseri, Rick (Jody) Sunseri, and Bill (Fifi) Sunseri, Kathleen Brodie, Nick (Beverly) Eckert, and Beth Jamison. He was predeceased by his sister, Sarah Sunseri. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., corner of Shaw and Triboro Avenues, Turtle Creek (412-823-1950). Mass of Christian Burial at St. Colman Parish Saturday 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
