John Andrew Bribiesca Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 26, 2025.
John, affectionately called John Anderson by his sister, passed away on January 22nd, 2025 at the age of 37 at Wesley Hospital in Wichita, KS.

Being born later in life to his mother, he spent a good deal of time with his sister, growing up alongside his nieces Raven & Savannah. He was a charismatic person, always clowning, & looking to make people laugh; his smile was contagious. You could often find him in the kitchen playing Master Chef, or dipping his pole to fish. He loved his family & was fiercely protective, often stating his mom was his best friend.

He is survived by his sister, Tracy Hurley (Slayden), brother Adrian Garcia, son John Bribiesca, first love & mother of his son Jennifer, daughter Summer, nieces Raven & Savannah, Uncle Carl, and cousins Hector & Tony. He was preceded in death by mother Becky, father John, grandparents Alta Bribiesca, Helen (Lockwood), & Clayton Scuka.

Im thankful to of known John during such a beautiful part of his life. I watched him graduate and become a dad! He had such a kind soul and was so funny ! It was beautiful to see him thrive in such a good environment! I'll always be so proud of him and what he accomplished. When he set his mind to something he did it!!

My first memory of john is when he came home with my mom and it was the middle of summer, he would throw us in the pool, he was never officially my step dad but he always stepped up for me and my brothers, he was such an amazing man
