I realize that no one will know who I am, but I am a distant relative that lives in Manitoba Canada. My maiden name is Ballegeer and condolence to all of the family. It is hard at first to understand why our loved ones have died. I can relate. You may contact me at camcm@@mymts.net if you wish.

I'm so sorry for your loss of John and I will include him and you family in my prayers tomorrow at church. You don't know me and I live in Peoria Arizona. I served on the Denver Police Dept. with John in the 1960's. A important part of my life in 1962 was learning that John was the first officer on the scene the night my father Detective Darrell J. Suer was gunned down in the Marigold Café March 3rd 1962. My mother Cody who is now 93, and doing well and living in Lakewood was with my dad the night he was shot and killed. I joined the force 2 years later in 1964 as did my 2 brothers a few months later. Again John and your family will be in my prayers. Respectfully
Bob Suer
