Hello Barbara,
Jessica and I are so sorry to hear about John´s passing. We were honored and blessed to be neighbors for many years, and truly enjoyed spending time with you and John. I can still see John´s fantastic model railroads and I enjoy telling friends about his incredible talent and knowledge in this area and with his photography.
Wishing you peace during this difficult time. The Zugel Family

It is indeed sad to see John leave us; his memory, however, will linger as we follow in his path. Beyond his contributions to our photo industry, John loved to entertain us with some corny jokes from his repertoire as "railroad conductor/entertainer".
Sincere condolences to all his family and friends.

I knew John for a brief time through his spouse, Barbara, and her sister Pamela. He was a kind, inquisitive, and engaging human being. My condolences to Barbara and the extended family.

I was privileged to be John´s administrative support at Kodak back in the 90´s, based in Atlanta. To me he´ll always be "JB", a sweet friend who shared a dream of opening an ice cream shop in retirement.
He will be missed as long as all who worked with him are still around. Prayers for peace and comfort.

My heart is heavy, yet full, with so many great memories of working with John in NYC.
John was a mentor, friend, and key supporter who made a profound impact on my life. When I needed guidance in my 20s as a Kodak sales rep in New York City, he was always there to offer valuable advice and encouragement. His guidance helped shape me into who I am today.
I have many fond memories of working with John, from calling on customers in the Fashion District and Chinatown to meeting with him over coffee or ice cream (his all-time favorite)! He introduced me to the sweet treat of "Serendipity", a memory that I will treasure forever.
Barbara, I am deeply sorry for your loss. John's passing leaves a void in the lives of all who knew him, but his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched. I will forever miss John, but I will think of him often with admiration and love. May his memory be a blessing to you and your family during this difficult time.
