Dear Gayle, This is Marguerite Batey. We went to high school together. I just heard about the loss of your dear husband of 52 years....I am so sorry. All I can do is wish you and send you my deep sympathies for the loss of your life's companion. He is out of pain now and that is good.
God bless...

Gayle, I was so sorry to hear of John's passing, but I know from personal experience how hard it is to see the one you love suffer pain. May God bless you with peace at this time in your life.

Gayle: I remember working woth John after my junior year of college at Paramount. You helped me get the job, because someone didn't show up for work that day. John worked hard to ensure that all of our tasks were completed accurately and on-time. And, of course, I remembe you from Franklin. I remmeber John as hard working and as being very kind to a summer replacement. My sincere condolences to you and your family!

Gayle,
I was sorry to read of John's passing in the paper. I know daddy (Hayden Hall) thought a lot of John when they worked together at Paramount. Know that you and your family are in our prayers.

I never met Mr. Barrett personally but graduated from high school with his daughter Shannon. Considering what a wonderful person she is, he had to be as well. I know she thought her daddy hung the moon and will miss him greatly. My thoughts and prayers are with you Shannon and your family during this difficult time. I'm sorry I was unable to attend visitation due to a heavy work schedule. Please contact me if I can do ANYTHING for you or your family.

I didn't know Mr. Barrett but am a friend of his sister, Jennie Lafleur. She spoke very kindly of Mr. Barrett and you could feel the closeness they had with each other.
My prayers are with the family in the days ahead in the loss of their loved one.
