JOHN BATCHELOR Obituary
97, of Longwood at Oakmont, formerly of Penn Hills, died on Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Agnes Batchelor; dear father of John (Rosanna) Batchelor, Jr. and the late Walter A. Batchelor; father-in-law of Cathy Batchelor; grandfather of five; great-grandfather of five. John was the manager of Turbine Generator Engineering at Westinghouse Electric Corp., and was a long-standing member of First Reformed Presbyterian Church in Penn Hills. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, August 4, 2012, 10 a.m. at First Reformed Presbyterian Church, 12900 Frankstown Rd., Pgh., PA 15235. Entombment will be private for the family only at Allegheny Cemetery, Lawrenceville. If desired, the family suggest memorials be made to Camp of the Woods, P.O. Box 250, Speculator, NY 12164. Arrangements entrusted to BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., Oakmont

To the Batchelor family - My condolences on the passing of John. He was a dear friend that I will always remember. I knew him from Longwood - as I was a therapist in the rehab department. I always enjoyed talking with him and listening to his many stories! God bless you - Tricia
