To Rosemarie, Craig, Kim and Charisse.

Today I learned of the death of a good man and friend. We shared many times together within the NAACP Organization and when assistance was needed for someone Fred and I served as workers for the civil rights movement. It is always hard to let go for one you loved through the years but Fred lived his purpose in life by looking after each one of you. He continues to look over each of you through his spirit. Just continue to honor him by living the way he would want you to live. His 78 years of life oviously touched many family members and friends. I unfortunately will not be there when he is laid to rest but I share your loss and will say my prayers with all of you. Thanks Fred Bennett for sharing your friendship. I'm going to miss you.

I think back on all those good times when me, Cammie, Kim and Craig knew we had missed curfew and were trying to get our stories straight so that we could all tell Mr. Fred the same thing in hopes, that we would not get grounded. Hold on to all the good memories for they shall get you through. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. LOVE leaves a memory no one can steal.
