To Evelyn and all the family. My condolences to you all on the passing of John. He was quite the character within the family and his humour will most certainly be missed by all. I am glad we were able to visit and spend time with you & John in May. I have memories that I will treasure. I will always remember his fun personality, joking, laughing, singing, all of which is an inspiration to us all. My heart is heavy with sadness as the brightest light in this world has gone out with his passing. Yet I am comforted by the thought that Johnny is free, probably more free than he ever was in his earthly life. My many wonderful memories of him visiting us in Ireland and also from our own visits to you in The States have brought laughter and smiles as I remember him so very fondly. I'm so sorry for your loss. Jim you and your family are in my thoughts at this difficult time.

I was saddened to read of John's death. I remember John serving Mass and later being an usher. He was a good man with a heart of gold and was a loving presence.

My prayers are with you, his family, and for him. However, I doubt that he needs our prayers to speed him to heaven.

I was saddened to hear of John's passing. I remember how much he loved his birthday parties, especially shaking hands with everyone who came. He was an inspiring example of someone who appreciated all the simple things in life and showed us how to make the most of every day with the talents and gifts we were all given. His smiling photo is how I will always remember him. RIP John and may God bless and keep the wonderful family through whom you will always be remembered.

You will surely be missed John by all those you touched. I myself will always remember the times at BoyScouts. I can still see and hear your laugh, God speed!

I am saddened to learn of John's passing. John & I shared numerous greetings and small talk at Stop & Shop over the years when I would do my shopping. He was always warm and very enthusiastic to talk sports and the Special Olympics. My condolences to John's family, friends and co-workers on the loss of this wonderful young man.

Dear Sweet John I know you are resting in peace with some of your loved ones. I used to have many laughs and nice conversations with you way back in the 60's and 70's working at Caldors where you shopped with your Mom. I have thought of you so often and realized you were a grown man now from a beautiful young boy. My prayers are with your family and loved ones here.

I am so sorry to hear about John. He was a special person who loved everyone he saw and was always happy. He was a true gift from God. I will always remember him at various family events, but my favorite memory will always be playing with him when we were both children. He was such a happy child, and that happiness stayed with him his whole life. I like to think that all this while we had an angel in our midst. Rest in peace, dear one.
