JOHN BITZER Obituary
Age 93, of Longwood, FL, formerly of Penn Hills, on Sun., Dec. 21, 2014. Jack was the son of the late Albert and Stella (Hoffman) Bitzer. He served in WWII and was employed by Westinghouse Research Lab for 34 years. His hobbies were fishing, golfing, bowling, cards, and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Marjorie Ann (Gawlas); father of Connie (Jerry) Scanlon, Diane (Ray) Wright, and Jack (Jo Ann) Bitzer; ten grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother of the late Harold and Robert Bitzer, Lamontz Collins, and Esther Halt. Family will receive visitors on Sat., Jan. 3, 2015, from 1 until time of service at 2 p.m. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pgh., PA 15236. Interment immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The ALS Association, FL Chapter, 3242 Parkside Center Circle, Tampa, FL 33619-0907. Condolences may be given at:
